The Rollright Stones, in Oxfordshire, are steeped in mystery. Some say these stones are Knights of the King turned to stone by a witch, many, many, years ago. I like a good myth associated with somewhere ancient and there are plenty where I come from.
I spent the afternoon with a friend at these stones on a cold March day., attempting daytime long exposures with the filter I purchased a few months ago. I’m still getting mixed results with it at the moment, but my attempts are getting better. I have lots of ideas for more pictures I hope to take with this filter. So, expect many more photos of daytime long exposures over the coming months, maybe. I like how this photo turned out. I managed to find a rare break in the cloud where the sun came out and shone on the stones.
