• Crocuses

With Autumn well and truely here and the nights drawing in, the number of flowers left in bloom is starting to decrease. Here are some crocuses that bloomed in the spring time. Hopefully they will brighten up a gloomy, rainy day.

  • Little fungi

What this photo doesn’t show is just how tiny this little guy was hiding amongst the moss on a tree branch in Westonbirt Arboretum. He was spotted by one of a group of friends I was with when we visited the arboretum back in the autumn. Wonder what type of fungi this is.

  • Lighthouse

Another long exposure picture from my trip to Liverpool a few months ago. This lighthouse is called Perch Rock and is located at the mouth of the river Mersey. This photo was taken on a very windy day but at least the sun was starting to shine through the clouds.

  • A little bit of blue

Now that autumn is among us, myself and a few others decided to head to a local-ish arboretum in an attempt to capture the autumn colours. We headed off to Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire, which has many acres of different trees producing a dazzling display of the many shades from green to orange to red.
