Now that winter is here with the days getting shorter and the nights getting longer. Here is an image of spring to brighten up your day. Bluebells are lovely delicate flowers and I look forward to the months when they start appearing in the local woodlands.
Spring is here and the blossom on the trees are now disappearing. Once the blossom starts appearing, I find that there’s only a short window before the petals start falling to the ground. But they are always make for lovely photos to try and capture.
What this photo doesn’t show is just how tiny this little guy was hiding amongst the moss on a tree branch in Westonbirt Arboretum. He was spotted by one of a group of friends I was with when we visited the arboretum back in the autumn. Wonder what type of fungi this is.
Now that autumn is among us, myself and a few others decided to head to a local-ish arboretum in an attempt to capture the autumn colours. We headed off to Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire, which has many acres of different trees producing a dazzling display of the many shades from green to orange to red.
