This photo is of an ancient burial mound in Oxfordshire called Wayland’s Smithy, which is located near the famous Uffington White Horse. To get to this monument you have to walk about a mile from the White Horse, there is no access to cars at the site. The views along the walk are stunning and something I recommend on a sunny day. When there is snow on the ground, views are even better. However be warned, the car park for the White Horse is sometimes closed if the snow has been bad.
