These standing structures called The Dolphins were used to practice the D-Day landings that took place in Normandy in WWII. When the tide is low you can get up close to the structures and something I plan on doing when we next have good weather here in the UK.
I used an ND10 filter for this photo to make the sea smooth and the crashing waves on the beach milky. This filter is quite good as it allows you to take long exposure photos during the day, without completely ruining the image. I’m still learning how to use this filter, but am pretty pleased with this one. I have another photo from this beach that I’ll post at a later date.
