Recently here in the UK, we had a period of very wintery weather. It’s not something we get often, at least in my part of the UK, and is certainly something we are not used to, according to the news reports of chaos on the roads and in the schools. When the worst of the weather had past and it was safer to drive on the country roads, I drove up to a local scenic lookout to take some pictures of the landscape covered in what was left of the snow. When I come to this area I usually stay near the hill you can see in the background, but on this day I decided to head towards a monument nearby, something that I hadn’t seen before. Along the route I looked back to see where I had walked from and I notice this stunning view, so decided to take a few shots to produce the above panorama. It’s not a bad scene, even if I do say so myself 😉
