Snowdrop

This was taken early on a frosty morning, about an hour after the sun had risen in the sky. We had a frost that morning and once the sun started to shine on the flowers, the frost started to melt and made for nice macro images like the one above. This was taken lying down on a black bin bag to stop me from getting dirt on my clothes. However I didn’t use a black background, the f-stop I used made the background all black and nicely complements the white petals.

I love how you can see the water drops from the frost in this photo. Definitely one of my favourite shots of the year so far 🙂
