I found this frozen flower whilst wondering round a localish monument during a cold snap here in the UK. I was quite lucky in finding this as it was hidden in a bush near to where the monument was. Although I’ve no idea what type of flower it is. It does look a lot like a rose, but I’m now sure that it is, feel free to let me know as I would love to know.
The monument I was visiting was a stone circle called the Rollright Stones. They are almost as old as Stonehenge, and legend has it the stones here are knights that have been turned to stone by a witch.
